Maaps... :) Here I come for the official review... :D

First of all, the concept was wonderful. Never imagined anything close to this theme when I saw the title or the opening scene. So that way, it was amazing. The sequence of events you chose were also very good.

Points to improve nu paatthaa I'd say quite a few of them.

1. The commentary... It was obvious that you had only bits and pieces of it and when you listen to the audio alone, you could easily note that the commentary is not in sequence, sometimes even rewind and playback. If this was purely a BG I might not have noticed. But when it comes to films like these that rely on expressions, it is easily noticeable.

2. Idhu romba over nu nenaikkaadha... The terror attack video that you are showing was the one that came up immediately after the attack started near the victoria station. But early on you said 180 died which was the toll that people came to know almost after a day... Chinna vishayam dhaan... Still that's what differentiates a Kamal film from a Kasthoori raja film... Illayaa? :)

3. The lighting and white balance. Completely understand that you've come back to your camcorder from a pro cam. Still white balance, over exposed areas, shades... Quite a few noticeable mistakes in the lighting and camera department.

4. Acting - again a known point and I assume you tried your best.

5. I feel you should've added some more dialogs... We don't just stare at the screen when we watch a cricket match. Some expressions like "These guys are unbelievable", "Wow", "What a shot" etc would always be there. Perhaps if you picked up a few of 'em that were common for both (cricket and the attacks) then it would've added to the suspense.

6. The angles you chose for the shots... I felt they could've been much better instead of resting on the person's face all the time. Just a weird thought... What if you had a sharp focus on the food items, cups, etc and completely blur the humans out... You can show all conversations and discussions as OOF happenings and the day to night transition could be shown through bread (breakfast), Rice (lunch), Chips (evening) and Chapaatthi or something for the dinner.

7. First frame la I could sneak and see a car in yellow light which is far from a cricket match. Not a real spoiler but I felt it could've been hidden if you chose a better angle.

8. If at all there was a message you wanted to convey what was it? I mean, I understand that this is about being neutral to everything and all that. But if somebody asks the question "Adhukku enna panna sollra?" I'm not sure if the film has the answer...

9. Was there a cricket match that was actually going on during the attacks? Naan cricket la zero. But if it was, then gr8... Else, ok... We need to makeup certain things to convey a message :)

Overall, last train scored better; but the concept was really unique. Way to go mate! :)

P.S: It was good to see our athlete and the french fries donor from last train back in action. :D

Thanks for the comments everyone.Yogesh, thanks for detailed comment.I agree almost all of them, except,

5) More dialouges i felt wouldn't convey the message..it wud have been too much build up,..

6)The first shot will have cup in prime focus, but the people wont be completely blurred.Reason, camcoder doesn't have depth of field adapter.Even if it had, i wouldnt have used it as the guys reactions is what that matters.

7) Accepted, but as per the script he is not watching match, so i felt some confusions such as this one, bits and pieces of commentary..etc would be gud.

8) This film is not intended to give solution,it ends with a question.

9) Refer point 7 :) However there was a match on that day.

True. But at the same time, watching a terrorist attack news without even uttering a word sounded a bit unnatural... I'm sure none of us were this numb to the videos.

//6)The first shot will have cup in prime focus, but the people wont be completely blurred.Reason, camcoder doesn't have depth of field adapter.Even if it had, i wouldnt have used it as the guys reactions is what that matters.//
I noticed that the cup was in sharp focus... :) But as you said, if the camcorder doesn't have that depth it's fine. And coming to the reactions, I felt that your point was to prove that we react the same way to everything. In that case, especially given that most of the time the characters are just watching TV without any reaction, I thought that focusing on the food would give an impression like - "Raman andaa enna Ravanan andaa enna... Yen pasi yenakku". Again just my 2 cents :)

//7) Accepted, but as per the script he is not watching match, so i felt some confusions such as this one, bits and pieces of commentary..etc would be gud.//
Bits and pieces of commentary was a really good idea. But the sneak peek wasn't provoking enough to get confused.

//8) This film is not intended to give solution,it ends with a question.//
Edhukku dhaanda react pannuveenga nu kaekka nenacchaa naa yeah... it does ask that question :)

//9) Refer point 7 :) However there was a match on that day. //
Gr8. As I said, this was a nice idea... Just wanted to cross check that against reality to see the amount of perfection that went behind the idea :)

Keep rocking! :)
